What Is a Coronavirus?

Coronaviruses were discovered in the 1960’s, but still, we couldn’t identify where they come from. Researchers suit their names from their crown-like shape. Sometimes, but not often, a coronavirus can infect both animals and humans. Most coronaviruses spread through the airways. If somebody have coronaviruses, when they cough in the public place, then it has been spread through over by the air or through after their used things it should also spread these viruses and it is spread the same way other cold-causing viruses do:

  • through the air by coughing and sneezing, close personal contact
  • such as touching or shaking hands with someone who’s sick
  • touching an object with the virus on it, then touching your mouth, nose or eyes

Where did the new coronavirus outbreak start?

On Jan.8, the new york times reported that Chinese researchers had identified a new coronavirus as the pathogen behind a mysterious illness that had sickened 59 people. This case may have a link to an animal market such as sold live fish, animals, and birds. Most of the estimation that these coronaviruses were infected by bats meat because they have evolved to coexist with many viruses, including coronaviruses but it’s very possible the virus was transmitted from bats to an intermediate animal, and then to humans.
