Ingredients of Milagai Bajji
- 12 medium green chilies
- gramme flour, 2 cup (besan)
- 3 tsp baking soda water as needed
- 1/2 tablespoon cumin powder refined oil as needed salt to taste
- 4 teaspoon cayenne pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon asafoetida
- 1 and 1/2 cup rice flour
How to Make Milagai Bajji
Step 1
To starting this dish, thoroughly wash the green chilies. After washing, chop the chilies down the middle and remove the seeds.
Step 2
Next, combine gramme flour, rice flour, baking soda, chili powder, cumin powder, asafoetida, and salt in a mixing dish. Prepare a batter by adding some water. The mixture should be thoroughly whisked. Your batter is now complete!
Step 3
In the meantime, heat the oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Now, take the chiles and coat them thoroughly with the batter before dipping them in the frying pan. Continue to fry until they are golden brown in color.
Step 4
When the bajjis are crispy, remove them from the heat and place them on absorbent paper. Serve with tea or green chutney!
